Ghanaians hold #FixMotherGhana online protests

Ghanaians have taken anti-government protests online after a court ruling barred them from participating in an in-person gathering.

People have been sharing photos of themselves holding placards listing the changes they want in the country using the hashtag #FixMotherGhana.

A group of activists had attempted to hold the protests on the ground in the capital on Sunday but police blocked them after a court injunction.

Ghanaians are calling out leaders for not initiating development projects and protesting against the high unemployment and poor rendering of public services.
