AFRCON 2023: Reassuring News for the Korhogo Stadium

While Côte d'Ivoire will be hosting the 2023 AFCON, which was eventually postponed to January 2024, there were reports of delays in the delivery of some stadiums, including the one in Korhogo.

Faced with these concerns, the Ivorian Minister of Communication, Amadou Coulibaly, has taken to the stage. "Regarding Korhogo, we were very optimistic and satisfied with the progress of the work. There were just concerns about the rehabilitation of the RHC where there was a slight delay. But with the pressure exerted by the Prefect, this delay was caught up," he said on the sidelines of the Tour de Côte d'Ivoire, which passed through the town.

Once completed, the structure will be named after the former Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly.
