Cameroonian Opposition Leader Kidnapped

Opposition leader Ni John Fru Ndi was kidnapped for the second time, according to reports from his Social Democratic Front (SDF).

The SDF claims that he was kidnapped from his home in the Northwest Region of the country on Friday, with the intruders shooting his bodyguard.

Those responsible for the attack have not yet ben identified, however, Fru Ndi has been at odds with separatists for his opposition to the division of Cameroon.

Fru Ndi was later released on Saturday. He was previously detained in April.
