Dead Body Falls Off KQ Flight

A dead body fell off a Kenya Airways flight as it came in to land at Heathrow Airport in London on Sunday.

The body fell into a nearby garden shortly before landing at the end of a nine-hour journey, with London’s Metropolitan Police alerting Kenya Airways to the incident once it had tracked the aircraft. The stowaway, who had no identification on him, is believed to have hidden in the undercarriage of the aircraft.

Kenya Airways has since released a statement confirming that it is working with authorities in both Nairobi and London to investigate the matter.

"We wish to reiterate that safety and security is a priority at our airports and this incident is being treated with the seriousness it deserves," the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has stated on Twitter.
